Lansing Relay For Life Steps Off

Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - It's time to put on those walking shoes and get those feet moving.

Today is the annual "Relay for Life" in Lansing.

It's a 24 hour event.

And it's to raise money for the American Cancer Society and ,hopefully, find a cure.

Teams of 5 to 50 people will be gathering at Cooley Law School Stadium, home of the Lansing Lugnuts.

And from 2:00 p.m. today until 2:00 p.m. tomorrow at least one person from each team will be walking around the stadium at all times.

But it's more than just walking.

There will be fun activities and things to check-out while there.
