Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MI (WLNS) – For the second time in less than a week maggots were found in a Michigan prison, this according to our media partners at MLive.

They were first found at Parnall Correctional Facility in Jackson, where 30 prisoners are currently sick. Maggots were found near the food serving line by inmates.

They were found again in another Michigan prison, Charles Egeler Reception & Guidance Center in Jackson. Inmates serving kitchen-duty found the maggots while they were peeling potatoes on Tuesday.

The Warden ordered  the kitchen to be cleaned with bleach and all potatoes to be removed from the kitchen.
