Woman To Face Charges For Stabbing, Killing Boyfriend

Posted: Updated:

(WLNS) - A judge has ruled that a Lansing woman will face charges of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the stabbing death of her boyfriend.

34-year-old Candace Fundunburks is accused of killing 27-year-old Jeremy Marshall on June 15th.

It all took place at the Alpha Apartment complex in Lansing around 4 o'clock that morning.

If the judge had ruled in favor of self defense the case could have been dismissed entirely.

Fundunburks is being held on $25,000 bond.

We'll have more on today's ruling on 6 News at 5 and 6.
