July 4 Shooting Still Under Investigation 2 Years Later

(WLNS) – July 4, 2014 marks the second anniversary of a tragic killing in Lansing.

Michelle Packard was watching the July 4th fireworks from Adado Riverfront Park in downtown Lansing when she was hit in the head by a stray bullet that police believe someone shot randomly into the air.

She did not survive the accident.
