Suspect In MSU Student Death Facing First Degree Murder Charges

Posted: Updated:
CLINTON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) - The trial process is moving forward for a 17-year-old who's facing first degree murder charges.

That's all related to the death of an MSU student back in February.

Dustyn Frolka was found un-responsive on the side of the road in Bath Township. Police say three teens are to blame and one of them is allegedly Brandon Heim.

Heim will stand trial for first degree murder. Police say Heim and two others beat, then robbed Frolka before leaving him on the road.

He died a short time later at a local hospital. Heim will be back in court later in July.
