EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) - If you've been spending more time in the library, hoping to raise your college GPA, you may be doing it all wrong.
That's because according to new Michigan State University research the answer may not be spending more time studying, but working out at the gym.
According to MSU’s research, students who were members of the recreational sports and fitness centers on MSU's campus during their first two years of college had a higher GPA than those who weren't.
The research also indicated that students with memberships stayed in school longer. Among the students surveyed, those who were members of the campus gym facilities also had more credits completed by the end of their freshmen year.
