Overnight Robberies Hit Minutes Apart In Lansing

(WLNS) - Lansing police are investigating two robberies that took place within minutes of each other overnight.

The first incident was a pizza delivery man who was robbed at gunpoint. Police tell 6 News it happened on the 2400 block of Risdale Avenue shortly before 11 p.m..  Officials say 2 women approached the delivery man and pulled guns out.

They got away with cash---but police aren't sure how much.

A K9 unit was brought in to try to track the suspects but was not unsuccessful.

About a half hour later officers were called to the 1200 block of East Kalamazoo for another armed robbery.

According to police two men drove up to two people outside of their home claiming to be police.

They pulled out a gun and took money, keys and their cell phones.
