Lansing Police Capture Suspect In Credit Union Robbery

(WLNS) - Lansing Police today tell 6 News that a suspect in Monday's Astera Credit Union robbery has been captured.

The suspect's name has not been released nor are the details of the arrest being made available yet.

Officials say during the robbery a man presented a note demanding money from a cashier. He was not seen with a weapon. Police say the suspect received money and calmy left the credit union.

He was last seen walking westbound on Jolly Road. Police used at least one K-9 unit to track the suspect, but reportedly were not able to pick up his trail in the heavy rain that fell on Monday. 

No was was injured during the robbery.
