Declining graduation rates and increasing student loan debts are topics of concern in Washington.
(WLNS) - There's a warning today for folks living in Ingham County. The East Lansing Police Department wants you to be aware of a phone scam circulating around.
Police say if you get a call from someone claiming to be a police official or judge telling you, you missed jury duty and they want money to make sure you aren't arrested, hang up the phone.
It's a scam. Police say neither their department nor the courts call people demanding money to have warrants dropped.
If this happens to you or if you've been the victim of this scam give the ELPD a call at: (517) 351-4220.
