STORMTRACKER 6 Wireless Weather is an exciting new weather product that enables subscribers to take STORMTRACKER 6  with you on your mobile phone. STORMTRACKER 6 offers real-time radar, current conditions, extended forecasts and severe weather alerts for a small monthly fee. STORMTRACKER 6 Wireless Weather helps you maximize your free time and keep your family safe.

How do I subscribe to the STORMTRACKER 6 application on my mobile phone?
First, you will need a phone with data access capabilities. Once confirming availability for data access, receiving STORMTRACKER 6 is easy; simply text "WLNS" to #69278 to enter your phone number and carrier for the application installation instructions sent to your phone.

Do you provide STORMTRACKER 6 for BlackBerry or TREO devises?
No, STORMTRACKER 6  is not currently available for TREO and Blackberry devices. We are continuously going through testing for new phones, so please come back soon to see if your phone has been added to our supported phone list.

How much does the STORMTRACKER 6 Wireless Weather application cost?
The fee for STORMTRACKER 6 Wireless Weather averages $4 per month. To receive the exact cost; go through the process of application download and during the confirmation (prior to purchase authorization), you will receive the cost billed through your phone carrier on your monthly bill until you unsubscribe. This cost is separate from the data plan that may be required through your carrier as well. Contact your carrier if you are not sure if you have data access.

What exactly is data access?
Data access allows you to receive real-time, server-side data (Internet capabilities) via your handheld device. Check with your carrier for specific pricing details. Coverage will differ depending on your carrier and phone.

How do I know if my mobile phone will support STORMTRACKER 6?
Most phones released in the last three years should support this application. If you receive an error message after entering your phone number and carrier, then you may need a more recent phone that will support this application. Contact your carrier or call 1-866/669-2278 for suggested phones.

Why isn't STORMTRACKER 6  service available for my carrier?
We are continuously adding Carriers to distribute this product. If your carrier does not, we encourage you to contact your carrier and ask them to offer MyCast Wireless products and services to their subscribers.

When I went to text message or web request for STORMTRACKER 6,  I never received a confirmation message on my phone with my Download Link.
The confirmation message with a download link should arrive within minutes of your purchase; however reduced speeds do occur for receipt. If you have not received your confirmation message with your download link within one hour of your purchase, please call 1-866-669-2278 and we will resend it.

How do I cancel my service?
If you wish to cancel your subscription to STORMTRACKER 6, you will need to do so on your phone as follows:

Sprint: Press the ‘Menu' button and go to ‘My Content' and then select ‘Applications'. Scroll to ‘My Content Manager' and highlight ‘My-Cast 5 Weather'. Press the ‘Menu' button and choose ‘Unsubscribe'. Then choose ‘Confirm'.

Verizon: Press the ‘Menu' button and select ‘Get It Now'. Select the check mark (settings) and then scroll to ‘Manage Apps'. Select ‘My-Cast 5 Weather' and choose ‘Remove,' or press the 'Menu' button and select 'Get it Now.' Select 'Get Going.' Highlight 'My-Cast 5 Weather.' Select 'Options' and choose 'Remove.'

Cingular: Press the ‘Menu' button and select ‘Media Net'. Scroll to ‘My Purchases and then to ‘Current Products'. Choose ‘Digital Cyclone' and then ‘Cancel Subscription'.

We ingest weather data directly from the National Weather Service including; radar and satellite imagery, weather balloons and hourly airport observations which are funneled into My-Cast database 24 hours a day.

When the National Weather Service issues a severe weather watch or warning, that information will be available immediately on your cell phone.
