Hillary Clinton makes final push in campaign

Campaign 2016

DETROIT, Mich. (WLNS) – With the presidential election days away and Detroit being Hillary Clinton’s last scheduled stop in Michigan…she’s making that final push in her campaign and it was clear Michigan supporters here tonight are standing by her side

“Hillary! Hillary!” Hillary!” chanted hundreds of Clinton supporters that rallied on behalf of the Democratic Presidential Nominee as she laid out her final plans for Michigan and the economy.

“We got to get the economy working not just those at the top, number two we’ve got to keep our county safe and we have to work with our allies to lead the world with strength and intelligence to our peace and prosperity, and number three we’ve got to bring our country together,” Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton said.

Clinton touched on how she would improve jobs in Michigan, the healthcare system and even highlighted her ideas on how to make college affordable for everyone.

“I believe in the American people and I think there’s nothing we can’t achieve if we work together,” Clinton stated.

United States Senator Debbie Stabenow showed up to support Hillary Clinton in her quest to break the ultimate glass-ceiling.

“That’s why I’m so excited to vote for her to be our 45th president of the United States of America,” said Stabenow.

Clinton also took the opportunity to take aim at her opponent.

“Imagine having a president who demeans women and mocks the disabled, who insults African Americans and Latinos and Muslims,” Clinton stated.

Her main point though tonight though…was to ensure people have a voice in this election.

“Are you ready to get out and vote on Tuesday?!” asked Clinton.

“Yes!” the crowd exclaimed.
