Mike Pence brings Trump campaign to Air Zoo

Campaign 2016

PORTAGE, Mich (WLNS) – There are just five days to go until Election Day and it’s clear Michigan is a key state in this election.

Republican vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence was at the Air Zoo in Portage making his final pitch to voters.

A fired-up crowd packed the Air Zoo in Portage to hear from Donald Trump’s running mate.

Senator Ted Cruz also appeared on stage with Pence encouraging people to get out the vote for Republicans.

Right now Hillary Clinton is ahead of Trump in the polls but that’s not stopping the Republicans.

They’ve been all over the state trying to reach voters.

At today’s rally Pence says it’s important for Republicans to come together so Clinton doesn’t get into the White House.

He also vowed to repeal “Obamacare”.

Pence told voters the choice…is clear.

“It’s a choice between two futures, I choose a stronger America, I choose an America that stands by our highest Constitutional principles, and I stand by Donald Trump.

Donald Trump gets us, he represents the American spirit, he’s going to fight all the way to the White House.”

The Air Zoo says they have no political affiliation.

The campaign stops aren’t over yet.

Mike Pence will be in Lansing tomorrow and Hillary Clinton plans on making a stop in Detroit.
