LANSING, Mich (WLNS) – The race for the White House between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is a dead-heat among Michigan voters.

That’s what the latest EPIC-MRA poll, commissioned by the Detroit Free Press, indicates as we enter the final weekend before Tuesday’s vote.

Among the voters polled 42 percent said they will vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

38 percent of the people who responded to the poll said they are supporting Donald Trump.

The poll had a four point margin of error.

Seven percent of the people polled are supporting third party candidates and another 13 percent are undecided.

Among the people who said they were voting for Hillary Clinton there were 39 percent who said they are not so much voting for Clinton as voting against Donald Trump.

That’s about the same percentage of Trump supporters, 37 percent, who said they are voting against Clinton when they cast their vote for Trump.

Michigan has come back into play among the candidates as they return to the state for last-minute campaign swings leading up to Election Day.
