LANSING, Mich (WLNS) — According to the CDC, having high blood pressure puts you at risk for heart disease and stroke, which are leading causes of death in the United States. Nearly half of adults in this country have hypertension, and only about 1 in 4 have the condition under control.

To learn more about the dangers of high blood pressure and how to treat it, 6 News digital anchor Chivon Kloepfer spoke to Dr. David McComb. He’s a cardiologist and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with McLaren Greater Lansing.
