First-ever drivable Ford GT prototype is going up for auction

Don't Miss

NEW YORK, NY (CBS) – The first-ever drivable Ford GT prototype is now going up for auction.

Under normal circumstances, this car could go from zero to 60 MPH in just over three seconds, but Ford put a chip in this vehicle limiting it to a solid five miles per hour.

The GT was signed by Carroll Shelby and Bill Ford, and despite the chip limitations, the current bid for the vehicle is $200,000.
