WYOMING, Mich. (WLNS)- One of the two 15-year-old boys arrested in connection with the death of another teen found in a Grand Rapids park has confessed.
The boy confessed after it was found he had made a “incriminating statement” on Facebook. He told police that he stabbed and beat Michael White.
According to police White’s body was found in Lions Park on Saturday. Two boys from the Grand Rapids suburbs of Wyoming and Kentwood were arrested.
The teen from Kentwood will face open murder charges as an adult, and according our media partners at MLive he was convicted of assault and battery in 2013.
No motive has been given at this point and the teen is due back in court April 13, says our sister station WOOD-TV.
