OLIVET, Mich (WLNS) - The Olivet boys basketball team has not had a more dramatic start to their season since they won 18-straight games in the 2017-18 season. The undefeated Eagles capped off a five-day three-game stretch bookended by incredible wins.

On Thursday, Olivet went to double-overtime and beat Leslie by a last-second layup from freshman guard, Bo Lincoln. On Saturday, the Eagles dominated Springport with a commanding 32-point win, and then on Monday night came their showdown with a tough defensive Stockbridge team.

‘Magnet for predators’: Hundreds claim decades of abuse by 150 youth center staffers

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Abuse allegations against New Hampshire’s state-run youth detention center now span six decades, with 150 staffers during that time accused of physically or sexually harming 230 children at a facility the victims’ attorney calls a “magnet for predators.”

Rus Rilee sued the state in January 2020 on behalf of three dozen adults who alleged they were abused as children at the Youth Development Center in Manchester between 1982 and 2014. He now represents 230 clients who say they were abused between 1963 and 2018, when they were ages 7 to 18.

Video shows 14-year-old boy’s terrifying fall off roof while doing construction; contractor cited

BEREA, Ohio (WJW) -- Police released video of a 14-year-old boy falling off a roof while doing construction on a townhome in Ohio.

The Berea Police Department said the boy was critically injured in the accident, which happened in December. Now, the company he was working for is in trouble with OSHA.
