CLEVELAND, Ohio (WLNS) – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette was given three minutes to address the Republican National Convention and he was bound and determined to take his best shot.
Schuette began his speech just after 2:00 p.m. today. You can watch the entire speech above.
During his address took on the Flint water crisis and vowed that “justice is coming to Flint”.
Schuette is the only leading Michigan Republican scheduled to speak at the convention. Governor Rick Snyder will not be on the convention floor but will speak to the Michigan delegation.
During his speech Schuette also referred to the shootings last week in Berrien Springs and urged the convention delegates to unite in support of police, sheriffs, deputies, parents who want safe schools and young mothers who want the best for their children.
Schuette said when we stand with those people we stand with each other and we are the best in the land.
