INGHAM COUNTY, Mich. – A semi truck for Amazon tipped over and crashed westbound on I-96 near US-127 early Friday morning, causing traffic to be diverted for several hours.
Police say the semi lost control and tipped over the shoulder.
While the driver wasn’t hurt, crews needed several hours to clean up some diesel fuel, Amazon boxes, and other cargo along the highway.
The investigation is still ongoing, but police tell 6 News that drugs and alcohol are not believed to be involved.
