Arrest made in string of business burglaries in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Over the past several weeks, the Lansing Police Department has been actively investigating a string of breaking and enterings to businesses in the city.

The Lansing Police investigators were able to identify two suspects.

On October 9th, the Ingham County Prosecutor issued an arrest warrant on Laprece Mar’Quel Stitt-Nathan.

Nathan was arrested in the city of  Lansing last night and lodged in the Lansing Police Detention facility.

This morning Nathan was arraigned in 54 A District court in front of Judge Buchanan on three counts. Two counts of breaking and entering, building with intent. One count of Larceny in a building.

A second wanted suspect is Corey Michael Stewart. He is a 17-year-old male from Lansing.

Anyone with information on Stewart is asked to call Lansing Police Department.

Lansing Police Detectives continue to investigate these crimes. They are requesting the communities assistance with any information on business burglaries.
