Boy Scouts of America votes to end ban on gay troop leaders

(WLNS) – Big changes are on the horizon for Boy Scouts across the country.

With a unanimous vote, the Boy Scouts of America’s executive committee has approved a resolution to end the groups ban on gay adult leaders.

Since last year the organization began accepting openly gay scouts but not as troop leaders.

The scout’s executive board will meet later this month to formally approve the proposal.
