This is a big day for roller coaster fans everywhere.

There’s a new ride at Cedar Point.

It’s called “Steel Vengeance” and with a name like that you know it’s offering some thrills.

The ride is located in the Frontier Town section in the back of the park where the “Mean Streak” ride  once stood.

This new coaster has risen from the timbers of the old wooden Mean Streak coaster and now sports a higher lift hill and new steel track that allows the coaster trains to go upside down.

According to Cedar Point’s website it’s the world’s first hyper-hybrid roller coaster.

6 News Coaster Correspondent, and StormTracker 6 meteorologist, Jim Geyer is at Cedar Point this morning to put “Steel Vengeance” to the test.
