The Saint Joan of Arc Coalition is pushing for answers from the Lansing Catholic Diocese on information surrounding the removal of a popular East Lansing priest, Father Mark Inglot.
The local group is asking for transparency after sending an open letter back in October and asking for details surrounding two cases of reported misconduct between two Diocesan high school coaches and students. Additionally the coalition is asking for more information about a planned external audit announced by Bishop Boyea in September. The Saint Joan of Arc Coalition set a deadline of December 1st for the bishop to respond.
Today, the group got a letter from the diocese offering to set up a meeting with the bishop and superintendent of Lansing Catholic Schools Tom Maloney.
In a statement to 6 News, members of the coalition said there are still many unanswered questions and they are grateful for the opportunity to meet with Bishop Boyea face to face
