The Ingham County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information regarding an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of December 19 2018 when 2 males entered the Good Shepherd Mission on Topping Rd (M36) in Stockbridge Twp. and attacked Pastor Billy Allen in his sleep with a stun gun. One of the men demanded money while the other one tied up Pastor Allen. When learning where the money was hidden, one of the men took the money and they both fled on foot. The Pastor described one of the suspects as a tall overweight white male, 6 foot or taller weighing 250 lbs. or more and the other suspect as a scrawny white male about 5’5 and 150lbs. The suspects got away with several thousand dollars of church money.
Pastor Billy Allen takes in homeless persons, the sick, and the poor. The Good Shepherd Mission and Pastor Allen also provide food to the hungry from the onsite food pantry.
