DEVELOPING: Accused Teen Arsonist Sentenced To Prison In Jackson County

DEVELOPING: (WLNS) – An accused arsonist in Jackson County will be spending the next 15 to 30 years behind bars.

According to police 18-year old Damion Hopkins set fire to his girlfriend’s home with her help. Police say three people were inside, including the 14-year old girl’s father.

This happened back in November in Hanover Township. Since then Hopkins claimed in court that he was protecting his girlfriend from abuse.
