EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – What if you could use your computer or even your phone to dispute a traffic ticket? Thanks to a new program in East Lansing, now you can.
The days of taking off work or school to wait in an East Lansing courtroom are ending thanks to the Matterhorn. If you get a ticket you can log on to the website to see if you are eligible to fight that ticket online. If you are eligible you can submit your position electronically to be looked over by East Lansing police and judges.
This new paperless program will keep you updated on your case and you do not even have to leave home. All you need is a cell phone or a computer for text and email updates.
The Matterhorn program is available through the district court website.
