Dozens killed in bus-tanker collision in Afghanistan


AP (KABUL, AFGHANISTAN) – At least 36 people have been killed in a bus accident early this morning.

The bus collided with a fuel tanker in Kabul, and a spokesperson for a provincial governor says among the dead are women and children, and at least 25 others are seriously wounded.

The collision happened along the main highway linking to the capitol, and the spokesperson says reckless driving is the cause of the accident.
