(WLNS) – If you’re a fan of high school basketball you have to tip your hat to the Lansing Everett Vikings. A great season came one game short for the Vikings this afternoon when they ran into a red-hot Saginaw Arthur Hill team in the Class A boys semi-final game at the Breslin Center.
The Vikings (24-3) lost to Saginaw Arthur Hill by a final of 73-61. The Lumberjacks led at halftime 35-32 and put on a offense show in the third and fourth quarters to down the Vikings. Everett went cold in the final quarter and Arthur Hill put the game out of reach. The Lumberjacks shot 52% from the field to put down the Vikings.
Arthur Hill will now play the winner of the University of Detroit Jesuit and Detroit Western game for the Class A championship tomorrow at the Breslin Center.
