FLINT, MI (WLNS) – President Barack Obama is giving $80 million in federal assistance to the state of Michigan with at least some of that money intended to help Flint.
A spokesman with Senator Debbie Stabenow’s office says they are talking with the White House to determine if all of that is new money, or simply federal money the state would have received later in the year.
The Senator’s office says it will be up to the state to direct that $80-million.
