DELTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Eaton County firefighters required aid from surrounding departments in tackling an apartment fire.
Firefighters responded to a call shortly after 2:00 a.m. Friday morning for a fire on the 800 block of Harvest Lane.
Officials say the cause of the fire is unknown, but appears to have originated in the kitchen area. Only the apartment where the fire originated received significant damage.
Only two residents of that apartment were displaced.
There were no injuries but several people were treated for smoke inhalation.
