Flooding Hazards Course offered by Ingham Co. Sheriff’s Office

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free flooding hazards course after the heavy floods mid-Michigan received earlier this year.

According to a post on Facebook, it will touch on topics like the science behind the causes of flooding, how to mitigate those risks, interpret FEMA flood maps, and more.

The course will be offered on August 21, 2018 from 8am – 4pm at 630 N. Cedar Street in Mason, MI.
