General Motors appoints two new Lansing plant managers


LANSING, MI (WLNS) – On Monday General Motors announced new plant managers for Lansing Grand River Assembly and Lansing Delta Township Assembly.

Starting in June, Steve Notar Donato will become the plant manager of the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant, located on Olds Ave. in Lansing Twp.

The Lansing Grand River Assembly plant manufactures the Chevrolet Camaro and Cadillacs, including the CTS and ATS.

Notar Donato previously worked in manufacturing operations and engineering positions, including time in Flint. He served as plant manager at GM’s Lordstown Assembly Operations plant in Ohio and GM’s Marion Metal Center in Indiana.

In July Marcos Purty starts as Lansing Delta Township Assembly’s plant manager, which is located on Millett Highway in Lansing.

Purty has worked as managing director of GM Thailand and Chevrolet sales. He’s also worked in Pontiac, MI, Canada, Fort Wayne, IN, Indonesia and at Holden in Australia.

The Lansing Delta Twp. Assembly Plant, GM’s newest North American assembly plant makes the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave.
