Non-profit organization needs info from tribes to assist in coronavirus prevention

The National Indian Health Board is asking tribal governments, including the 12 here in Michigan to help provide information to fight against coronavirus.

The organization wants to share information on necessary resources for tribal communities with both the Congress and Administration.

Michigan’s 12 tribal governments control more than 300 square miles of land which are home to tens of thousands of people.

The non-profit needs to gather key data from a survey to assist in these efforts. The survey should take about five to 10 minutes to complete.

The Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives also has resources available about coronavirus.
