UPDATE: An Amber Alert was issued for two girls, Lilliana Reynolds and Zymani Reynolds, as they were taken by the two suspects after the double-homicide.
Later that night, LPD told us that the Reynolds’ girls were found at a home in North Lansing are healthy.
One of the suspects, Brion Reynolds, is the father of both of the girls and is still on the loose.
Gavin Anspach, the other suspect, was found by the police and is being questioned.
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – At approximately 5:34 p.m., Lansing Police Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of W Michigan Ave. Upon arrival, police found two dead women with apparent gunshot wounds.
The first victim was a 46-year-old and the second was a 24-year-old.
A 6-year-old boy was also found with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
Police said that a preliminary investigation found that the incident was domestic and that the victims and suspects knew each other and that it was not a random act of violence.
The LPD is also issuing a missing/endangered alert for two 3-year-old girls who were at the scene of the incident.
The two girls, Lilliana Reynolds and Zymani Reynolds are believed to be with the two suspects. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
The suspects are:
- Brion Reynolds, 23, 5’7″ and 135 pounds with corn rows.
- Gavin Anspach, 21.
Both suspects are believed to be in a grey SUV.
