Human remains identified as missing Lansing Township man

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – According to Michigan State Police, the human remains found near I-94 in Lawrence on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, have been identified as 28-year-old Jerome Ezell from Lansing who went missing on November 7, 2017.

The Western Michigan School of Medicine in conjunction with the Michigan State Police Anthropology Unit, made a positive ID of the skeletal remains.

The autopsy has not been completed yet and cause of death is still unknown.

This case is currently being investigated as a homicide.
