The Ingham County Commission is back to full capacity.
Last night they appointed Thomas Morgan to fill the 10th District Commissioner’s seat previously held by Dennis Louney.
Louney resigned this month after Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum learned of Louney’s use of “positional resources” to help his campaign and get support for the election.
Thomas Morgan defeated Louney in the August primary and will appear on the November ballot running for a full, two-year term.
He previously served as chairman of the Ingham County Economic Development Corp., vice chairman of the Ingham County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and secretary-treasurer of the Ingham County Equal Opportunity Committee.
