INGHAM CO., MI (WLNS) – An Ingham County deputy, a K9 and another driver are all okay after car crash near Mason Friday.
The accident happened just before noon at the intersection of Edgar Road and Columbia Road in Ingham County. According to investigators the deputy was driving south on Edgar Road and collided with a car that was driving east on Columbia Road.
The driver of the other car was not seriously injured, but was checked out by medics on scene.
As a precaution, the deputy was taken to Sparrow Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries. He has since then been released. The K9 was also checked out by medical authorities and released.
The accident remains under investigation by the Mason Police Department.
