UNION TWP, Mich. (WLNS) – Isabella County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a stabbing and assault that happened at a local apartment complex.

It happened around 12:46 a.m. Sunday morning at the Village at Bluegrass Apartments in Union Township.

Sheriff’s officials say they responded to a call of a person in a parking lot with a hand gun.

When deputies got to that apartment, they were told that a few people at the party began spraying everyone with pepper spray, began to assault people with baseball bats, and one person was stabbed.

Several people were also kicked and punched during the fight.

The suspects left the party before deputies arrived.
