Jackson Police follow trail; find stolen marijuana plants

JACKSON, Mich (WLNS) – Jackson Police got the dirt on a break-in Sunday and now one person is facing breaking and entering charges.

6 News is told that they were called to a garage in the 1400 block of North Cooper Street after a report that legal marijuana plants and other property had been stolen.

During the investigation officers found a trail of dirt and marijuana plant debris that led them directly to an apartment on the 400 block of Blair Park Drive.

Officers knocked and when nobody answered the door they got a search warrant.

When they had the warrant they entered the apartment and found the stolen plants and other property.

They also found an 18-year-old man who was promptly arrested for breaking and entering.

His name has not been released pending his arraignment.
