LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – One person who played a big role in the Larry Nassar court case says she may be interested in becoming the next president of MSU.
Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said in an interview today that she would consider the job if asked.
6 News spoke with her this afternoon and she was critical of how Engler has treated survivors of Nassar’s abuse.
“By his own statements has really said ‘I’ve had enough, I don’t really believe you anymore, I want to shut you up, shut you out, shut you down, enough is enough, we’re not doing anything more for you,’ which really shows I think that the seed that’s within him has grown to the public now to tell us that he never believed them,” said Judge Aquilina.
Judge Aquilina presided over the Larry Nassar trial in Ingham County and allowed survivors as much time as they needed to make their victim impact statements.
