Lansing Township Police investigating homicide

(UPDATE 10:20 A.M.) – Lansing Township police are investigating a homicide in the 400 block of N. Rosemary St. that happened around 3:40 a.m.

Police say the victim is a 47 year-old man.

Officers found the man dead with what appeared to be gunshot wounds, however after further investigation, police believe the injuries may be from stab wounds.

The Lansing Township Police are being assisted by the Lansing Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

The investigation is still ongoing but police ask if you have any information regarding this homicide to contact the Lansing Township Police Department at 517-485-1700.

(WLNS) — Lansing Township police have blocked off a local neighborhood for a crime scene investigation.

Officers have released few details at this point, but we know that police were called to an apartment building in the 400 block of N. Rosemary St. around 4:30am.

The Lansing Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived on scene shortly after 8:30am, and Chief Adam Kline says officials will be on scene for some time.
