Lansing Twp. gas station robbed at gunpoint; suspects at large

LANSING TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) -- - Lansing Township police are looking for two men they say robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

It happened at 1:06 a.m. at the Speedway gas station, located at 401 S Waverly Road.

Police say the two suspects entered the store, and one of them pulled a handgun and demanded cash. The suspects got away with $383. They walked out of the store toward Kalamazoo Street, where police believe they got into a car.

The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 9 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a camouflage bandana, blue jeans and black shoes. He was armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a light-colored hoodie, camouflage bandana and gloves and a two-tone gray and navy jacket or vest.

Police say the clerk was not injured in the robbery.
