ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WLNS) – Laurie Carr, wife of former University of Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr has died at 70.

Carr died after a long battle with cancer, reports The Detroit News.

The University Of Michigan extended condolences to the Carr family in a Tweet.

Lloyd Carr served as the Wolverines’ football coach from 1993 to 2007.

The Wolverines won five Big Ten Conference titles during Carr’s tenure.
