The internet can be a good way to find information and social media allows us to stay in touch with friends and family.
But this technology has also created a new platform for bullies, what’s now referred to as “cyberbullying.”
Michigan lawmakers took action to fight cyberbullying last year, and the law took effect at the end of 2018.
Chivon Kloepfer spoke with attorney Bryan Waldman of the Sinas Dramis Law Firm, and in this week’s “Legal Edge” report, Bryan has details on what the new cyberbulling law is, how it’s defined, and the punishments if found guilty of the crime.
