LEGAL EDGE: Release Waivers at Trampoline Facilities

News

Trampoline facilities seem to be popping up everywhere these days. While they can be very fun, they can also be very dangerous.

According to CBS News, in 2017 alone, there were almost 18,000 emergency room visits due to injuries at trampoline parks and 6 deaths since 2012.

A study done at Virginia Commonwealth suggests that some of these injuries are due to design issues at some of these parks.

But, what exactly are you signing? And, what if they get hurt?

Attorney Bryan Waldman from the Sinas Dramis Law Firm has the surprising answer for us in this week’s “Legal Edge” report.
