Legal Edge: Understanding Tax deadline change


Lansing (WLNS)– Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the many changes Americans have to endure, a change in the deadline to file taxes. That federal tax day is usually April 15th, but the IRS pushed the day back to July 15th. State and local deadlines were also pushed back until July.

While you can still file your taxes at any point, the changes do leave some questions to be answered. We spoke to attorney Bryan Waldman from the Sinas Dramis law firm, to get some answers. Hear what he has to say, in the video above.
