This week’s “Legal Edge” report stems from a viewer question that 6 News received about what someone can legally do if branches from their neighbor’s tree are a nuisance and hanging over onto their property.

The viewer told us their neighbor won’t do anything about it. 

This is a common dispute between neighbors so we asked attorney Bryan Waldman from the Sinas Dramis Law Firm about this case, and he says trimming those branches yourself is “risky.”
