Do you think your vote doesn’t count?  It does and the proof of that is being felt in Charlotte today.

The Charlotte schools asked voters there to approve a $29,850,000 bond to pay for additions to school buildings, security measures, adding instructional technology for school buildings, buying school buses and improving athletic fields, playgrounds and other sites.

By a 49 vote margin, 4,226 “no” votes to 4,177 “yes” votes, the measure was defeated.

A total of 8,403 votes were cast.
