UPDATE: No injuries in fire at MSU Dairy Cattle facility; crews battle fire for hours

UPDATE (10:00 P.M.) LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Multiple fire crews responded just before 8 p.m. on Saturday to the The Dairy Cattle Teaching and Research Center for a report of a fire.

According to Michigan State University police official, Chris Rozman, there was a feed barn on fire, which was located in the middle of 12 silos. Rozmans says none of the silos caught fire.

The smoke could be seen from miles away.

In total, more than 10 different departments responded to the fire. No people or animals were injured.

As of 10 p.m. on Saturday, officials say the fire is out.
