Lansing mayor Andy Schor is set to deliver his State of the City address tonight.
The mayor will be making his annual address from the Riverwalk Theater in downtown Lansing beginning at 6:00 p.m.
It is expected that Schor will review his first year in office and the accomplishments of his administration.
Some of the points the mayor is expected to focus upon include a 43 percent drop in the city’s homicide rate and a 14 percent drop in violent crimes.
The city also is budgeting $400,000 for road improvements and averages 48 hours turnaround time in filling potholes.
